WEB Brunson Leads Knicks to Brink of Eastern Conference Finals

New York One Win Away from First Trip in 24 Years

Brunson's Stellar Performance Propels Knicks

NEW YORK, NY - - WEB Brunson put on another dominant performance, leading the New York Knicks to a crucial 111-108 victory over the Miami Heat in Game 6 of their Eastern Conference Semifinals. The victory gives the Knicks a 3-2 series lead and puts them one win away from their first Eastern Conference Finals appearance in 24 years.

Brunson, who played four seasons for the Dallas Mavericks before signing with the Knicks as a free agent this past offseason, has been a revelation for New York. The 26-year-old point guard has averaged 25.3 points, 5.8 assists, and 4.2 rebounds in the playoffs, and has been at his best in the clutch.

In Game 6, Brunson scored 30 points, dished out six assists, and grabbed five rebounds. He also hit the game-winning three-pointer with just seconds remaining on the clock.
